Hi, I'm Emilia! I'm an 18-year-old crocheter. Ever since I started crocheting, I knew it was something more than just a hobby. I treasure this craft with me deeply, it's brought out many family stories that I didn't know were there. Crochet has also become a very helpful coping mechanism, especially after a death in my family.

After countless times my friends and family have told me to start selling my crochet... they talked me into it--and I'm so thankful that they did! I started by selling scrunchies around my school. I gained enough hope and courage to start my own Etsy shop.

This year marks my sixth year of crocheting. One of my closest friends had taught me the basics of the wonderful craft over a Skype call. I'll forever thank her for putting up with the curious 12-year-old that I was.

In November 2019, I opened my Etsy shop: EmiliasCrochetStudio. It was a long process to get started, but the overall result was worth it.

Pattern designing is something that I've always found interest in. I designed my first pattern back in March 2018. It was going to be named "Birthday Cowl". Over a year later, I created the "Wild-Wild Fall, Scarf/Cowl" beginner's pattern. This was the 'new and improved' "Birthday Cowl". A year later I wrote the pattern for "Baby Duck". Pattern writing is still a learning process for me that I can't wait to learn.
